I read that the valve clearance is supposed to be 0,10mm. I'm not exactly sure what that means? Am I supposed to use the 10mm for the intake and exhaust? Is there a tolerance or is it only 10mm?
Thanks for your help.

That's 0.10mm not 10mm. I haven't done it yet. clearance is 1/6 turn on the screw. Look at Wiki at the top of the page. Good luck

The clearance between the valve shafts the adjusting screws when the engine is cold should be .12mm.

Most use the 1/6th turn method as it is difficult to get a feeler gauge into such a tight area.

On TDC on the compression stroke tighten the adjuster screw until it lightly contacts the valve shaft, then back it off 1/6th of a turn. Tighten the counternuts to 11 Newton Meters torque. Done.

central europe writes stuff with a comma while just the UK (I thought!) use the 'sull stop' so for us 0.10mm but if english isn't your first language then it is 0,10mm.

I was 19 when i bought and raced my ducati pantah and all measurements were like that and i never, ever got used to it.
