Valve adjusment Husaberg 450fe 06

Hi Guys,

The bike run great. Full trottle the engine sound is clean. Only a few back fire going downhill, don't know if it normal.

My only problem is it stall after a few minute or right after I keep the gas full trottle a few second. Seems fine at low idle.

My question is, could it be my valve adjustment the problem? I had this issue before adjusting the valve.
spark plug is new, the head is 100% rebuild with taff's parts.
I'll replace the spark plug cap and make a second run.

thanks!

Daniel

Problem solved, I have a weak gas flow probably cause by the gas valve from my second tank.

Many thanks for your help and patience.

as a GOLDEN RULE to finish this tappet thread off;

I discovered from my mechanics that they also struggled to get the valve clearances right. sure, they'd get a 1/6th-of-a-turn but the tappets were way too tight and the bikes didn't run right.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO GRAB THE LOCKNUT WITH THE TIPS OF YOUR FINGER AND MAKE MORSE CODE NOISES. THAT NOISE MUST JUST BE AUDIBLE AT THE REAR LICENSE PLATE HOLDER....JUST....NO FURTHER.....NO LESS.

adjust and loosen till you get this noise - JUST at the rear light/plate holder.

Chris, The bike run like a charm after adjusting the valve. My initial problem was the gas valve on the auxiliary tank almost closed with the vibration.

Thanks again Taffy!

glad to hear. Is this right position on flywheel? Pic is sideways do I align the bump at 9 o'clock bolt on the compression stroke then that's where I'd asjust the valves ?
