Greetings All,
I have searched the site for this info but have not come up with anything that is an exact answer for this question, so here goes.
I have a 2004 FE550E that has been stripped down for a "freshen up", ie: bearings, seals, rings, check the valve train etc following 5 odd thousand km's. On very close inspection it seems that this was a complete waste of time as there is nothing worn or wrong with the bike other than the gaskets that have been damaged in the disassembly process. So to the question, what is the general consensus as to what should be upgraded when the engine goes back together to make it even more reliable than it already is. I intend on keeping this bike for a long time yet so i don't mind spending the $ on it.
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.
