If I remember correctly, it consists of a price reduction on a years end 04, the 05 right side exhaust header, the thermostat and plumbing, the kick starter and the graphics. To be installed by the purchaser.
This of course to upgrade an 04.

Yeah, the Aussies seem to get all the good stuff. Their enduro's even come prepped for the street.

To clear stock of the 2004 (FE) 450, 550 & 650's, Husaberg Australia offered a $500 rebate on the bike after the retail sale and an 05 upgrade kit for the bike. The upgrade kit included the following parts to bring the bike to essentially an 05 model, less the exhaust.
Note: The upgrade kit comes in a box for you to fit or you pay the dealer to fit and you still retain the 12 month unlimited km parts and labor warranty.
- 05 Seat cover and shroud graphics
- 05 Handlebars
- The 05 thermostat system (inclusive of the hoses)
- 05 revised kickstarter.
And yes the FE and selected FC models come fully prepped to be road registered, but we do pay for the privelidge. A 2004 FE550E is $13850 inclusive of registration fees and goverment charges. You will get a $500 rebate from Husaberg Australia in the ensuing weeks after the purchase so essentailly the bike will cost you $13350.
Regarding riding area's. You name it and we got it. From desert riding to 10 km's of rugged terrain riding in 5 hours. In fact we are credited as having the most gruelling desert race in the world, the FINKE desert race.
I have travelled the world and we have the best and most varied riding areas compared to any where in the world. Remember that Australia has a greater land mass the North America with a population of 21 million. We really are the lucky country downunder.
