Hi All-
I assume the CDI mounting tab needs to be cut off? Can anybody give me more info on where the CDI is best relocated to?
Thanks!
Matthew

I ziptied mine to the frame under the fuel tank, was just enough room and it's away from the heat. I couldn't find anywhere else.

Here's some pics of what I did. The cdi is away from dirt/mud/heat and is well protected. The perfect and easy solution! :D

Just a piece of aluminum flat-bar with a couple strips of pre-dried silicone to help keep it from slipping back.

I've had my ECU set up this way for about 15,000km's or roughly 200hr's with no issues of ripping the airfilter.

that looks good Log

my version for MX, only requires headlight removal and welding over the VIN number :)

the ktm RFS bikes put their ECU up near the head stock but back and on one side .. might work on a berg

hey bushie

If you mount the ecu up near the headset, wouldn't you have to cut and extend the OEM wire harness?

it's a great place for the ecu if your prone to deep water crossings. Better chance of keeping it dry.

The previous owner relocated it here, it's ziptied on top/behind the relay.
