Thanks for the post. Great article. Makes me wonder if the easier to ride principle carries over to supermoto.

That is a good advert for midwest! I like the livery...the black and yellow looks good. I think it is better than the blue, black and yellow of the 07! Also Midwest will do the conversion on a new bike, from them, for no extra cost. That is good of them. Good question above about the same sleeving working on a supermoto. Not so sure it would; as a supermototrack is not as "twisty" as enduro courses so I think the lap times would still be quicker on the 450.But saying that; the 3 sisters in Wigan is quite "twisty"{ well it was in the late 80's when I did it on a 350LC and on the "street class" machines!}

I hope you all like the test. I have sent an official copy with the knowledge of Trail Bike Mag to KTM Austria, Thomas Gustavsson and KTM UK. We are trying to promote Husaberg enduro bikes as much as possible in the UK so look out for a team in the British Enduro Championship for 2008.

In woods riding around here I would seriously consider one. My 501 can be a little bit of a beast but I would be willing to go with something that is easier to ride in tight going. I ride in tight going ( heaven forbid ) a Yamaha TTR-230. I miss the power of my 501 but don`t need the hassle ie kickstarting and lets face it. I`am getting older and I like the magic button. My berg doesn`t have it. Last time I rode my 501 was at the Hatfield McCoy ride and then it messed my left leg up very bad ( kickstarting) and I have never gotten better cause of it. Give me good e-start and I still like the 380.

im great believer in big is not best - in dirt bikes only!

when i went to my 03 400 my ridin improved no end to the point where riders, who i still rate as better than me, were makink comments like, " couldn't flippin catch up with you. only caught u up cos i took a risk around that muddy corner"

still chuffed about that comment as i was riding in my comfort zone at the time, not pushing it.

but it just proves having a bike your in charge of rather than bike in charge of you pays dividends.
