UK seat re-covering

just added a seat hump to mine to see if it will stop my lazy arse sliding backwards.
pretty straight forward apart from having to use a heat gun to warm the seat base up to get the staples in.
either my staple gun has lost some of its heavy dutiness since i last re-covered a seat or berg seat bases are made of sterner stuff than jap ones.
is the high factory seat no good as i'd imagine to get a seat raised and looking good would cost a bit unless you did it yourself?
