I've had three customers in as many Months ask me if they can buy a reconditioned stator but without an exchange unit.
all three of them have been asked by WEST COUNTRY WINDINGS to send in their old units so they can be 'checked/inspected'. they then tell the customer that the unit is knackered and that they can buy electrex units off them.
asked if they can have the old unit back (please) they are told it's in the bin. the dogs eaten it. it's in absentia.
they think this will then force the customer to buy an electrex unit.
this week a customer was so incensed, and lived near enough, that after two calls demanding that they find his unit, he went down there to the shop. when he got there they miraculously found it (or is that someone elses?!?!).
WCW have no intention of repairing these stators, the only reason they ask for them is to phuck you over.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED LADS OK.
