Turning an E into an S....

Hi all,

I've recently acquired a non running FE450E which I wanted the wheels and a few bits and bobs off. I've now thought of modding the forks and/or RSU to make them a spare set to make my FE550 a bit better when I've got the supermoto wheels fitted.

Can anyone advise me of some useful mods to make them a bit stiffer (other than cranking up the pre-load)?

Any advice gratefully received....

all depends how far you want to go and how good you want them to be.

stiffer set of springs is an obvious one.

then depending how much stiffer you go on the springs you might want to look at what oil weight / level your using or if they need revalving for the springs
