Tripmaster wheelsize

Hi all
Just by accident i found out how to change the wheel size on my tripmaster 05 FE550E . For motard set up
have i discovered some thing no one else knows.
because my local dealer said it could not be changed

Can't tell you your the first...cause somebody else on here told me back in January... and I did it for the motard setup too!

But, it is a great find, because it makes the tripmaster even more useful!

Hey guys-
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "tripmaster". I too want 17's on my 05 fe550e so I'm trying to get all info I can.

"Tripmaster" is probly not the correct word
It is just the stock digital speedometer.

Hi Italjohn

to change wheel size on speedo ( fe ) unit

Disconnect power lead black & Red

goto display set up ( press & hold O button in hour meter display )
( WS ) should show up tap O untill WS flashes then press +

2250 ( 21" rim ) will be displayed then press +/- to change

when changed press & Hold O to display changes back

Reconnect power & new wheel size will be locked in

My motard setup is 1790 ( 17") front
