Sorry guys, i could not figure out how to edit the thread title in my earlier thread on this subject, or i would have kept that one going.

So i have a KTM fender brace all fitted, so i offer up the X2 and see you need to move stuff out of the way. I read and re-read the insturctions on where the wireing plate goes. I am stood in front of the bike and i move it to the left as the instructions say. But can i figure out where to bend that sucker to - no!

So where exaclty do you bend the wireing plate to, to give enought clearnace for the unit to sit back far enough to the odometer? Does it go towards the front of the bike, or back between the fork lefg and the bike, or up in the air?

So you can see that lot needs to go somewhere, so the black rubber and white plastic at tthe bottom right, which is the rear of the headlight, can go back further.

We cut a notch in the black bar that holds the speedometer on. My Trail tech light fits tight but great !

If you really need more room, why don`t you remove the connectors from the plate and just fasten the wires together in a nice tidy bundle. This has been done many times before and as long as you package things neetly you will have more room and no trouble!

Any more opinions on this one, before i start "making in damn well fit", if you know what i mean

I'm pretty sure I removed the bracket like gorick suggested. Fit's fine with the USA fender brace.

Thanks guys. I just trying leaving the wiring plate loose and not attached to the triple clamp and the headlight went straight on and theres nothing tight when you move the bars lock to lock.

Now on one of these, which is low beam and which is high beam? The smaller of the 2 lamps lights when i push the stock switch to the low beam position and then both small and large ones come on when you select the high beam setting. I have not fitted the Trailtech switch at this point.
