A while back I went on a trackday and played on my 650 amoungst the sports bikes. It was just a bit of fun and a chance to stretch the legs of the biggun :wink:

Anyway, a mate of mine took some video and I put it on youtube a while back.

Didn't know they fitted a reverse gear to sport bikes these days :twisted:
They all look like they're scared of the only decent bike on the track, must have been cold though dude, your mate was shakin like a sh**tin dog!!! :D
 
Great riding Chris. That video brought me a lot of happiness to see you smokin all those street bikes. You were leaving them like a pro leaves amateurs.

The corner speed difference is just amazing. Consider that all of those 600cc bikes have double your hp. I think you scared few of them going on the outrside :lol:

oh p.s. whats the deal with Anglsey track days? (price, any particula day of the week, time on etc)

Yo crispin, from what i remember when i did a trackday at oulton park with 'no limits' the prices vary through the year, with summer obviously being more expensive. I think Oulton was near end of year bit damp cold etc and was £60 IIRC. Think mid summer ones are about £150. I'd guess that anglesey was around the 60 mark with it being near winter.

Trax was £30 for the day the other weekend ! Now thats a VFM trackday :)
 
Al right Smithy lad!, was that the Sunday at Trax? They do a good deal as far as I can remember on Sundays, 10 minutes mini-moto, 10 minutes Kart, then ten minutes supermoto?? I thought "what...!? 10 minutes every half an hour??", "I'll get bored!!", boy was I wrong, I was sat on the fence gasping for breath as the young wipper snappers were doing press-up's inbetween sessions to keep warm.... oh why do we have to get older???
 
yeh that was that sunday we were talking about. On that day they had (dont quote me on this one) 15 mins supermoto, 15 mins gokart then back to supermoto, no minimotos the day i was there ?!

I can see Trax being overwhelmed with UHE members mid summer :)

haha crispin, you must be getting old, il be going for a run in between sessions so my muscles dont cool too much hahaha. im 26 going on 16 ;)
 
ahhh OK, mini-moto must be a little more seasonal. I thought that they would be the intermittent group out of the 3. So now they are gone, it's reduced to 15 on, 15 off. Similar format, just more time on & less time off..... ohhh my old aching bones!!

So on the age thing, your 26??? u lucky bugger! I'm ten years your senior, but gasping & weasing aside, I really enjoy a good race! :), so we should organise an Unofficial, Unofficial Husaberg meet @ Trax for the Supermoto brethren amongst us???

Anyone interested please add to this post, and we can arrange a meet in due course??

Chris, bloody top riding mate, unbelievable difference in corner speed!
Crispin, i raced pitbikes on tarmac a couple of years ago, 10 minute races, you wouldn't believe a 15hp 150 could give you arm pump up on tarmac!
I would be up for a moto track day with a UHE posse, try and get my pegs down without the rest of the bike!

with regards to whether the minimotos dont go on the track anymore im not sure. On that particular day there definately wasnt BUT that may have been because none turned up ??!! either way, any time on track will be a good time.
And yeh Crispin, im 26 in a month ! you're only as old as (the girl) you feel lol

Im definately up for any trackday in the northwest, would go anglesey too on a normal trackday as my mates would probably come along on their jap cr4p ! and dont worry crisp, ive had a total of 3.5 hours riding experience on a supermoto, i pick stuff up quick but not THAT quick :)
should be an interesting first trackday !!

oh and dont forget trax has a mx track as well so maybe a few off road lads might fancy a mooch down too !?
 
Yeah good idea, I'd forgotten about the course out back @ Trax!!

So far then we've got myself, Smithy & Carl. Anyone interested post on here so we can get an idea of numbers?
