Well been a rough six months, no work :( Looks like I am moving back to Portland,as that is where the work is. I had to list my beloved Husaberg ( and everything else I have of value) for sale last night to get some money......... :( :( :( On the up side, it won't sell quick.

sorry to hear that mate? hope you have **** luck shine on you soon. it won't help but i've been scrapping a living together to cover the bills and always getting bank charges every month. a real catch 22 situation. however this last fornight things have been a lot better so there is hope mate!

Here's hoping once you get to Portland that you get up and going quick on an employment opportunity, and you'll be able to keep your bike or get a replacement soon.

Thanks for the kind words guys, but my woman had another take. She threw a fit, and even called a potential buyer and told him the bike is not for sale! She's a good woman, I think I'll keep her. :D

Hi Bendberg,

Sorry to hear of your troubles, but, glad to hear that your woman knows better than to let you sell your bike!!!

I was just thinking of you yesterday when I was using my trick bendberg air filter cover when I was washing my bike.

Here's hoping that things go your way when you get to Portland.

I am glad to hear that your wife did a Berg intervention.Your bike is one of the sweetest 470's around, 05 cam, timing chain and the list goes on and on. Keep a positive attitude. Things do have a way of working themselves out.

I also have one of your airfilter covers and use it routinely. A very nice piece of fabrication.

Hang in there Bill, and on the brighter side you will be closer to BOSS. I know if you are in the construction trades it's really tight right now, maybe you should get a hold of Cheeseberger he's alegedly building a couple of houses in Crested Butte. I'm sure he could use a good HVAC and sheet metal man. Good thing you have a sensible wife, I know every time I talk about selling my bike my wife heads that off at the pass, we are both lucky in that regard. We'll keep you and the family in our thoughts and prayers, better days are a head & as my Great Grandma used to tell me " chin up my boy chin up"

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys funny, re-reading my post and I said , well at least it won't sell quick, my first call on sunday morning was for the Berg! Maybe all our hard work on turning the stigmatism around will pay off! Was only asking $2000 (even though, it is priceless to me).

While it was great to have My woman stop the sale, it was money we really need, even though she didn't have a problem letting me sell her bike.

By the way, Honda XR100s= motorcyclings best investment, sold it for a profit!
