Hello people

Been having a good look around the site and afew others but
Still need some advice

I bought bike afew months ago and love it but wanting more so
The mods I have done up to now are:-
Map switch
Custom unrestricted muffler

It's always serviced etc

But what do I do next,
Remove smog ( no idea how or if it has it been a uk model )
Remap or one of the plug in systems

Also looking at putting filter in fuel line to help protect fuel system

Please any advice or guidance on things I should
Be doing to aid the bike and protect the running of the machine
Or to help performance.

Thanks for your help
Russ.

Hey russ, I can an answer a couple of your questions from experience, the inline filter suits a can am quad bike and is listed on here in a thread. I have found that keeping the tank clean and free of contamination by using a filter in the filler neck, like a pro-fill, is a far better solution as it prevents instead of cures.

There is a smog removal thread

The bike will enjoy a remap to closed course competition ( or open loop ) mapping.

Man there is a ton of info here, finding it is a nightmare, use google to search the site, literally everything you need is on the uhe.

Not a lot that needs to be done I think!

Make sure it has the gray frame 20-micron inline fuel filter in the injector. Check that you have the updated fuel pump. Do the weephole fix. Info here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=902781

Set up your suspension / sag - I've heard that these bikes are somewhat sensitive to suspension settings.

And set up the cockpit / ergonomic layout. Peg-to-seat distance is on the shorter side on these. I really really like the medium-tall seat I bought cheap on a whim. And I like the bars high and forward, this kind of thing.

What kind of riding will you be doing?
