Went out today on the 450,Mate came around with his KX250F wanting a quick ride through the lane and on to a small track thats been made in an abandonded feild by a local farmer who's boys rode bikes.
He turned up and helped get my bike up and running,been 4 months since it last ran.
After draining the carb and filling with fresh fuel she fired up,with a little help from my cars battery jump pack.
She ran like crap,lots of popping and backfiring,that was soon sorted after 5 mins of fast idle and all duff fuel was burnt off.
So off we set,bike was pulling cleanly and hard from the bottom to almost the red line.
she started to flutter slightly,much better than 4 month ago and all i took out was the db killer.
We road tight single track,propper sloppy mud and wet,moss coverd logs and low branches everywhere.
My kind of riding
After a few miles at real slow pace i was starting to wish i had bought a rekluse and she started to over heat.
After 10 mins mate said we'd best make a move as we werent ment to be here,he'd taken me on a short cut that was declassified 3 years ago into a bridal path.
Bugger i said best make our way to the green lane over there and move on,ad we did,being cuirtious to dog walkers and horse riders as you should.
about a mile up the road was a green lane that run all way to another town,where the make shift track was,only trouble was there was a fence and gate now blocking access.
we turned around saw some farmers walking towards us with something in their hands,mate says we best leave and to follow him,as he rode off and i started to follow the 2 farmers leap and him and try to pull him off the bike,HOLY CRAP goes through my mind and i power away from them with a big gap between us........but one of the bugger leaps at me in a rugby tackle type of way and trys to clothes line my neck,got a loverly big bruise and scratches across my right colllar bone along with a stiff neck where he caught my chin guard.
Lucky for me he didnt get a good enough hold and i managed to stay on the bike by wringging its neck in second.
we went a mile up the road and got caught with the same horse rider that we had just passed,so we slowly pass and open up a hill around a left bend and up a steeper hill.
The 250 stalls as he was in wrong gear and looking for me,We stop for all of 20 seconds till he got bike running,while kicking i said i'd been hit and they're probably after us,mate says bollox to stopping,ride like you stole and head for his place,then............
....BANG!!!!!! I'm hit from behind and get rolled over bonnet of a Mitzi shogan complete with chrome nudge/bull bars doing around 40/50mph,B@$!ARD didnt brake at all,just rammed me off my bike.
My mate got skittled off his bike by the berg ramming his rear wheel.
He managed to keep his running and rode away to get help and my family. :evil:
As i lay in ditch,not moving as my back hurt real bad,just trying to see if i could feel everything and thanking my body armour for doing its job so well i hear voices behind me
saying "That'll teach the little **** a lesson" and "**** the bike let it burn" followed by some laughing and watched him drive off up the road and park up :evil: :evil: :evil:
What do these people think??? That all bikes are fair game???
Later found out he had a massive maglite and swung that at me and missed.
THEN!!!! to make matters worse my LITTLE brother race up to where the 2 drivers/farmers were standing and shouted "what the **** are you doing thats my brother you just ran over" while giving him a little shove.
The guy tried to punch him but unfortunatly didnt realise he was the local rugby tight head prop and was pumped up for a game,he didnt stand a chance,think lil bro hit him 7 times before he hit the ground.
The the driver claims i broke him arm,the one that he punched my brother with,and want to press charges against my brother for assult.
Bugger was a good day till then
