i am not very up on husabergs...i have a 03 501fe...is the ignition timing adjustable on this bike...if so what is the correct timing for this....i downloaded the manual but the photos are blurry..or maybe a quick rundown would help more...thanx

It is adjustable; in small range.First of all- get ensure that your timing marks on flywheel are correct. You can fin the topic in owner's Doc.Look at the TDC mark, as that one might me done not accurately in factory.Once you got ensure that they are right, you must strobe your ignition.

it's in the doc as krisbrum says. max advance is 30-33d BTDC. the flywheel marks are always wrong from the factory.

ok thank you....is it possible that the timing could be off enough to pop back through the carb or air filter..not much but enough to make it noticeable...also once running if i hold a rag on the exhaust it does suck in a lil...or am i looking at a bent valve...i had to reseal the rocker cover and when i put it back on it seemed tight so i removed it again and re-installed after checking the de-comp lever...dont know if that was enough to bend a valve or not
