Hey all

I'm fitting a thumb brake to my berg, but a but unsure about the routing of the hose! I was just gonna go straight down the frame on the left of the bike? But wondering if the heat from the engine will affect braking etc?

it doesn't on my LHRB system so you should be ok. give us a link to the sales blurb on that thing will you? does it also operate the footbrake and have a valve system in it so that they can both operate?

regards

It's a *******ised ducati front brake that I'm making fit at the moment! I'll post pictures at some point if I'm not too embarrased!

gregfreefaller,

I have the rekluse z start pro on my fe390, but I have the necesity of use the clutch on cetain situations, so I tried to install a thumb brake with a brembo front master cylinder, the same the berg use and a custom lever, but when I tried the front brembo pump seems to have not enought power to lock the rear wheel, and ergonomicaly speaking is not to confy for single track use.
Now I came back to the LHRB and I´m trying to install the clutch lever on top of the brake, but with the original magura cylinder it´s kind of bulky, I was thinking to try a magura mountain bike disk brake lever but I don´t know if it work.
I routed the LHRB hose onthe left side of the frame beneath the gas tank and subframe.
