Throttle sticking

Hi again! Fitted my carb (FCR39) back on the bike (02 FE650) after having an overflow problem and now the throttle sticks for about a second after i shut off? Is this just down to the cables or something to do with the carb itself?

if it is the pilot screw, just unwind (CCW) about 0.5 turns and it will stop. if better but not perfect then perhaps another 1/4 turn out.

I doubt the slide is stuck.

you may have a blockage from having disturbed the carb so to speak.
