Things i have learnt about Bergs Part one

It uses a 5/8 socket, one of the few standards out there. Same size as actually my WRF and my Toyota.

How many other standards are there? 9/16...?

The official Husaberg toolkit is actually a KTM toolkit, and it does come with a bottle opener, as well as a long socket you can use with a screw driver for a handle. I think you can order it on the Husaberg site, but any will fit.

Good tip Ned, thought i would have to resort to something like that until discovering an old box spanner that just fitted between the head casting.

Cant see the essential slot for opening beer bottles though. :)

Is it true that the main reason for supplying a bottle opener in the standard issue toolkit is .........Ya spend that much time stood watching your poor broken down bike at the side of the road/trail/track you might as well drink yourself into a RELAXED STATE !!!!

Also, beer bottles in Europe cannot be opened by hand like in the States, and this for child protection. In Germany (and I believe Austria), it takes some serious effort to open your beer and a man needs serious tools for serious jobs.

this could be true .... the bottle opener can also be used to open the drinks to celebrate the 1st place you have just achieved .
