I'm sorry to say this but my bikes may have to go :cry:
I am definitely getting rid of the 2001 650 that I have but I have not decided yet whether I'm going to sell it as is or whether I'll break it (part it out as you 'mericans would say :wink: )
So, this is the current spec of the 2001:
FS650e converted to an FE650. E-start is removed and long gone so it is kick start only.
In October it was fully rebuilt (ridden 3hours since) with new bearings throughout, piston has only 10 or so hours on it as has the con-rod and big-end bearing.
It currently has an LX2 cam shaft and I have a spare 53 cam knocking around. Counter-balancer is removed and the crank is balanced at a 40% balance factor. New cam chain, cam gears, both upper and lower, properly timed with extension to the tensioner. It has new sprockets on front and rear, off-road wheels that have done no more than 20hours and tyres a pretty fresh.
It also has an updated 2003 onwards FE exhaust system, digital speedo. Shock was serviced and rebuilt by WP here in England and the forks have been serviced. They are slightly shorter than stock FE suspension but work well both for motard and enduro. It has almost brand new Brembo front brake system (bough by me a year ago January and used 3 times).
Although the engine cases are a bit tatty, I have done all the work necessary on this thing.
It has 11months tax and 10months MOT.
I will consider breaking or selling whole but would like to see if there is any interest here before deciding.
I also have full motard front brake setup available too.
Let me know any interest for the bike or specific bits.
