On the way down for the ride, Josh was notified of a loss in the family, and had to turn back.

I just wanted to say that we all wish him comfort during this time, and we all hope to meet him at a ride sometime in the near future.

Guys,

Much aprreciated.

About 6 hours into the drive I was notified that my sisters boyfriend was killed in a mountaineering accident while in Georgia, Russia. Thinking I would be able to continue on and fly back early, I got as far as Penn. and realized that I needed to be somewhere else.

We are all ok, my sister is dealing well, as is his family. Biggest problem is getting information.

I dont have any magic words of advice. But I will say, live it while ya got it, hang it out while ya can, just not too far

.

Peter will be dearly missed forever.

Hi Josh,

We were all very sorry to hear of your loss and the painfully long trip you had to endure to end up where you started.

Thanks very much for trying as hard as you did to come visit us. Marc let us know all the stuff you guys had to go through just to get on the road.

I really hope that we get a chance to meet in the near future. I'm sure it will happen in due time.

I'm very sorry for your loss. When you are ready, anytime you would like to make the trip back down, I will drop what I'm doing to ride with you and your crew.
Coffin represented the Canadian crew quite well.
