Just would like to say hi. I am purchasing a Berg from a fellow board member. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan..have been here for 11 months and llok forward to getting home in the next 30 days. The man I am buying it off of has offered to sit on the bike till I get back and pick it up. I was in the market for a Katoom450/525 but started looking at ATK and Bergs. I plan on hauling it on my Van and didn't want a portly moster. Desided in the Berg after more research...but didn't want to shell out for a new one....I am in the Army remember.
I desided on the FE650 after reading about the power and suspension...and the sub 250lbs was the kicker for me. I do have a few ??? Bought a 2005 FE650
1. is anyone running a Rekluse on there FE650? juice worth the squeeze?
2. What steering dampners are interchangable?
3.BAJA kits that are plug and play...I dont want bucher the stock wires up.
4. Is anyone running the re-usable scotts oil filter?
Well I guess that is it. I hope to ride with and meet some of yall when I get home from this god-4-saken place!
