Hello Everyone, I just wanted to put my two cents in about the uses of the berg, I have been reading the site for a long time and watched lots of cool videos of the guys riding their bergs in the woods. BUT for the record, The MIGHTY HUSABERG is more then just a woods bike. I am a desert racer who have been in the top three overall in the year end championships. as far as the desert, the 650 rules, Their is no bike that can do what the big berg can do. I have three desert racing bergs and all are custom built for me. what ever the race is I have a berg to do it with. tight and twistie, 01 fc ( with a starter ) 470, and a 07 450 district 37 races and enduros, big 6 GP 01 fc 470. and for high speed BITD 05 650. I never read anything about the bergs racing the DEZ and I feel lonely becuse I am the only one on the national hare and hound series that rides his bergs, so, just for the record, The Mighty Husaberg rules the desert.. Mark From Sparks ...ROVERS M/C :D

Not many deserts here in the Netherlands. :(

Woods are scarce as well. We have lots of water and mud to play in. :bounce3:

Now that looks like alot of fun,I have never had to ride through a mud hole like that before. We dont have MUD like that in the DEZ

My 496 was AWESOME in sand.... I can't even imagine how effortless a 650 would be.

There was quite a bit at the Desert M/C National this year from what I understand...........

I haven't been out to the desert races much in the last couple of years. Rode the Desert M/C event last year on my then brand new 09 570, and couple of enduro's.

Before that though, I rode quite a few Desert races on my 01 501, earning V19 (fourth ammie) when I was 39, and was tenth Vet Op B in the national H&H series. I also rode that same bike to tenth Sen Op B in the national H&H series my first or second year in the Senior class.

I rode my 04 550 to many good finishes and have never lost a drag race up a sand wash on it!

I may try and make a few more races later this year, I'm with Huntington Beach MC. Drop by and say hi sometime.

I agree absolutely, there is nothing like a 650 in sand

I was just looking at the pics you sent over, that race is something I would like to do, I really like long distance races, and their is even lots of bergs around, the girl is as tough as nails I have never meet a women that would still finish.

Hey Dale EO, I am going to try to make it to the night races, money is tight right now so I dont know how many I will do. Are you going to be at the night races ? Its all ways good to know many people at the races. I will stop by and see you if you are their
