The Love is Back

I have had nothing but troubles with my dream bike. My '09 FE450 has had fuel pump, pulse sensor and most recently injector issues. Last enduro race two weeks ago, it barely ran, but still managed to finish.

After installing new injector, its back to life. All I can say is WOW, what an awesome bike. I swapped with my buddies KTM 250XCW yesterday at the practice track. It felt like a toy. I LOVE the 450 4-Stoke power and the Berg handling.

So the love is back, and a forgive her for all the problems.

That is all.
:D

That's awesome you're stoked on your bike again.

These things need to keep the fuel entering the injector clean, and on pressure. With the many tiny flow restrictors in front of that injector, it is a guessing game as to which is helping or hurting. I think the inline small filters all need to go.

That's great Brian! Glad to hear you have it sorted out. No excuses now for this weekends race :D .

I think Mothers Day will put a hold on the Mini-Pine :(
But Codrington is a go.

congrats! from what i read they didn't get decent fuel pumps in until 0ct 2011, and it was finally in 2012 they got the right guage filters in the fuel system. a lot of us use the fuel sock filters under the fuel cap to catch gunk before it gets anywhere near the critical stuff. good insurance for $30.
