THE FE350 PARTS BIKE LIVES!!

I arrived home from work today to find a heavy postage pack in my mailbox. Felt to be about the right weight of a brand new used stator and coil. I don't even know if I said hi to my wife as I headed trough the house and into the garage. Did a quick ohm check, and tossed it all in. Held the plug to the head and got beautiful blue spark! Just add fuel.

It came to life on the third kick. My three year old ran for cover. My wife cheered, baby attached at the hip. I was a hero!

All goofiness aside, it started, and I do feel pretty good. Yesterday when I was cleaning the carb I noticed the bowl gasket looked bad, and it is. It pours fuel. I'll get a hold of Rick at Off-road Boss tomorrow to see if he's got a gasket kit.

I know there will be more things to figure out, like adjusting the carb, but for now I'm stoked. Thanks for all the help. More to come.

:pimp:

That's awesome news! Must've been so exciting to hear it come to life.
I don't know what kind of carb it has, but if BOSS can't help and it happens to be a Dellorto, try these folks out.

They'll help even if a particular carb isn't listed on their site. Good people.

Hope you're able to get that bike on the trail soon!

I'll keep them in mind.

Yes, I believe I have the Dellorto VHSB 38.

I don't want to talk too bad about my local Husaberg dealer, but I sure can't find a reason to do business with them. I've been very pleased ordering parts from BOSS. Very knowledgeable, and has never made me feel ignorant for asking questions.

The only way I found this site is by calling dealers in other states. This is a great way to get info and contacts.

Great News! gald to see it coming around, scaring the kids with motorcyle noise is one of my favorite hobbies!

i agree, Herdan's people are great, i bought jets from them a couple times, and i emailed them one night for hard parts not on their site, they responded the next morning to my email, but didnt list a price for one of the things needed, so i emailed back asking if they couldnt get the part since there was no price for it and a **** called me an hour later to apologize she forgot to put the price for that one! also www.guzzino.com has some parts listed online with pictures and stuff, i think i got a complete gasket kit from them once too and they shipped fast.

You might have to change your name when you get this thing going...like Husasaver or something!!!

Rick Bozarth is a true ambassador of the sport, Husaberg enthusiast and all around great guy. I'm fortunate to live just 15 minutes away from arguably the best Berg dealer in the states. :)
