My 05 650 has been rebuilt now. Took it in to mechanic as it was making a weird noise.
I replaced
Cam Chain
Cam Bearings
Follower bearings
Gaskets an orings
Conrod Kit
Counter Balancer
Mains
Main Seals
Water Pump Balance Bearing and oring seals etc
Shims
Rings
Valves and Piston were still all in spec.
5000kms and 90hrs.
Lets see what we get out of it now .... I am glad to have a bike to ride again.
I used Amsoil 20-50 motorycle oil since new wondering if i should switch to something else now?
