I am giving this serious consideration (I have booked the plane ticket but haven't paid the entry fee). Are there any other Berg riders planning to do it.

I have only had my FE450 2005 for 10months so don't have a lot of experience with Bergs, can anyone give me any tips for things that I should do to ensure that I get me and the bike to the end.

Also, is anyone importing the big tanks into Australia or do I need to organise it myself? The course has up to 250k's between refuel stops. What else can I do to carry even more fuel?

Yes I have already entered, I am using a 2007 FE650, the Clark 15L tanks are available from Valley Force Husaberg in VIC.

I am using the Clark 15L + Berg 5.5 L side tank + Nomad bumtank 5.8L = 26.3L all up.

Next thing would be to talk to John at Orange KTM/Husaberg NSW re what you need to do to get the 450 to last the distance.
