The 2003 onwards dash

Does anyone else have a problem with the dash display cutting out?

I set the clock etc at the last event I did and not even 500 yards into lap 1 and the think had shut down!!

It also has occurred on riding on the road so not just confined to bumpy conditions!

Could it be related to the shagged battery I am in the process of replacing?

These things are a very,very troublesome unit. There is some excellent information available at KTM Talk. Exploit the search function to the max in all categories if you decide to go there..

we have had some issues with the digital odo on a few bikes,some even new.we noticed in all cases the sensor down on the brake calliper could be turned in a little bit more so it could pick up the signal from the magnet :!: .dan.
