Te300 advice

New member there, just sold my Crf250x and want to get a thumper as I think it will fit my riding style more. Any known problems? As I searched online I found that it's a bit harder to find replacements and other mods like ktm do, at least in my country. At the moment I see the te300 as a cheaper, better, more handsome ktm but I still want to find f it has flaws as I want a reliable bike for hard enduro riding.

The KTM 300 and the blue and white variants are solid bikes. Theres not much else to say about a bike that has proved itself time and time again as the bike to beat when it comes to hard enduro.

I guess any 300 twostroke will be the same, the only difference will be in the price and availability of parts from Sherco or Beta or GG or TM racing.

What year is the bike? Up to 2013 the two stroke ktm/husaberg/husqvarnas had some issues with the e-start.

I am not sure what year, I haven't found one yet, looking for 2012-2013, the newer the better. I know that some have problem with the e starter. I also have 75 kg, still thinking about getting the 250 as I don't want to deal with more power than I can handle

the stator, battery and starter were all improved in the 2013 model year of the Husaberg TE300. I ride this bike as my principle enduro and scramble machine.
Almost anything from the KTM 300 except plastics will fit the Berg and the Husqvarna plastics fit the late model Bergs from 2013-14.
I'm fortunate enough to get to ride most of the competing brands 300t's as well and by and large they are all pretty great choices.

Good luck in your search. Hope you get what you want.
