Hi all sorted electric start so thought I would start on engine bike doesn't idle well and when ran for a couple of minutes the manifold glows red is this the norm??
Too lean? Is it cold where you live right now, winter and all? Dense cold air needs more fuel. I'm sure there are people here that can help you with that.
upjetted moved a clip up on needle runs nice and crisp but cant get to idle no matter how much I turn air screw/idle adjuster?

Not sure how u got on but as mentioned above sounds like leaning out, making sure all jets,are clean,also check the the intake boot isn't perished, this is a common issues on many bikes the rubber can split letting the engine suck fresh air, or it can become hared allowing air to pass between the seal between the carb and the intake boot. A bike having this issue is impossible to tune the caby on. Good luck
