Taffy trying a different line

i accept i was useless and used my special crash locater which you can see on the dash of the bike.

however i was 6th of 7 bikes there. only tuts was behind me and when we arrived mark must have spent 3 minutes turning his katoom around which had become wedged between the two rocks you can see. the sun was inour eyes.

turning aropund the bike with helmet on i think he'd have a job telling anyone that he was pointing the correct way. front riders yes, blokes at the back? sorry!

could a been killed but at least mark would have the reward of saying "well i told brendan-isn't that enough?"

ask tuts, he'll condemn me-no one else.

just nipping that one in the bud splat that's all.

i picked the correct line and rolled left over the top of the crest. i did the same the last 3 days days, just didn't hold the clutch and use it and some revs to keep straight. i'm annoyed that i let myself down. i can't think why i did it?

all i can think is that i really was softened up by berger's rekluse on day 1 which i loved. the other is the fact that i was trying to be nice to other people's bikes by not revving and clutching. of course i then fell which rather defeated the object....

i rolled hard left around the gap in the rock and then saw this hole in the ground in front of me.

i don't think mark means anything by embelishing a good story but it ain't hard facts. a joke i can and will take and that's why i have said nowt for 5 days. all in good humour.
