just a quick wright up on the jetting kit sulpplyed but taff.

had a lot of troubles to start with regarding what i belived to be in the end a worn carb body but in the end i have found what i would concider the magic jeting combo.

bike

FS650e supermoto.
full fp race pipe

jets .

main #160
main air #200
idel #45
idel air #100
taff needle 7th clip
mixture screw 1.75 out .
squirt reduced 1mm

i got there in the end i hope this helps some one trying the same.
i personally couldnt get to run with a leaner idel jet and trust me ive tryed them all from 35 up. a 42 worked but with lots of screw.

thanks david for your advice it was hard work but the power is now smooth and crisp

Hello Daryll

If you are running 100 air then it explains why you can't get under a 45PJ. I normally supply a 50/55/60PAJ in the kit and these are suited to 35/38/40 PJs.

that will also allow you to try the needle in clip 6. your main could be a little lean but will be lean-spot on if you have my smaller unmarked MAJ fitted? again I see you don't so I think that that 160 is close to the edge.

IMHO I thought 160 was good but several people couldn't get it that low.

try
162 MJ
unmarked MAJ
needle (my special in brass right?) c6
40PJ
60PAJ
pilot screw at 2 turns

good luck!

Taffy

thanks for the feed back i will keep testing but i seam to have a good setup at the minute

you sulplyed me with a 35 pilot and 55 air

i than tryed 37 40 42 pilot with a air screw. but could not get it to work i put it down to the open fp pipe.

and yes i am running one of you brass needles.
