Hi all ,
Havent posted forever but hoping someone can help me out. I had a cam chain let go in my 2003 FS650 causing catastrophic damage(parts alone were going to be $3500) Long story short I was able to find find a 2008 650 FE. I am looking to convert it to FS trim by taking lights, signals, etc. off the 2003 and put it on to the 2008. Having the bikes side by side there looks to be some significant changes in the eletrical between the two. Just wondering if any of you guys have ever done something like this. Would i be better off buyind a complete wiring harness for 2008 FS model? I remember this site used to have downloadable manuals but cant seem to find them anymore. Thinking if I had an electrical schematic I could probably figure it out. Anyways thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing back.
