I have had the engine and swingarm out of my frame which has just been powder coated.

I am struggling to get the swingarm in, with the engine loosely fitted on the front plates.

Any advice ?

I fit the swingarm first and then fit the rear part of the engine, slide the pivot bolt through. Once you get that part it is fairly straight forward. Try that and see if that helps. All a matter of getting everything lined up. Hope this helps.

Also, the coating can reduce the diameter of the holes, and reduce the width of the opening needed to fit the swingarm and engine.

Powdercoating is a relatively thick coating, I believe, so take this into account.

as said, try the pin on it's own in and out of the frame first and then fit it in the frame w/o the engine. THEN engine in and 'muddle' through!
