Hey all,
Anyone know what alloy the swingarm would be on a 2000 FC600?
Thanks!

lol

Doug is interested in the alloy composition ......

its weldable and imho the same or very similar composition as the cases

i have the exact details at home, will post later

(Just a muppet thought - Maybe the same alloy as KTM bikes of the era used? Might be easier to find out or useful as a comparison?)

I am thinking you need this info for welding?????????

Clean clean clean clean clean lol, It is imperative to clean, then a 4047 filler rod, low heat maybe at about 50% . The 4047 rod seems to work best as it works well at low heat. Melt add a drop of rod let off let cool for a moment and continue, seem to work best for me. Cast can be a bitch sometimes as no matter how much you clean something will always boil out even when you think its spotless. Hope this helps :)

It is. This guy is the one doing actual work. He was just looking for the info, and I knew where to get it. Thanks for the info though.
