SO, how do the bearings come out of the swingarm?
Are the pressed out?
Can they be hammered out?

I got the swingarm out and off the bike easy peasy but I can't even remove the rubber seal.

Advice please...

i presume you got the two dowels out. they should be a straight hit with ideally a shouldered drift. you will then be left with a needle roller on the inside and outside of each part of your swingarm. outside these are your seals. the seals you get out by tapping in a flatbladed screwdriver and hooking them out.

you're then looking at the 4 needle rollers and i'm afraid the only way to get them out is to tap at the one that is away from you with the broadest shouldered implement you can find! i think i used a 1/4" cold chisel and tapped around in circles like i was doing a gravestone! WD40 etc etc blah! blah!

you get the picture! and don't forget that when you put them in - don't just grease them - OIL them, that way they'll last twice as long!

oh and guess where you could have read about this! good job you aren't a neewbie innit!

Do'h

I did a search and didn't find anything. I just assumed the "Doc" was part of the search.

My bad, thanks Taff.
