Swedish Army Husaberg Prototype?

The 1982 Husqvarna MC258 Swedish Army Model is suppossed to go out of service in 2005. Husaberg was going to build a prototype replacement, does it exist? The Husky is an Auto, would the Husaberg just have auto clutch?

I don't know but good luck trying to find out anything from the Swedish Armed Forces website. Their motorcycle display team information has not been updated since 01. If you poke around a bit you can find some neat photos of them jumping through fire and over VW bugs. Use the search function and start hacking. You may come up with the answer.

When I was at the Swedish factory, in 97/98 I think, I actually saw representatives of the Swedish army there. But I don't think anything went into production. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
