Is there an entrance exam and are dumb folk from the city riding over powered Huserbergs allowed to attend? When is the next workshop?
I've mentioned these in the past, and a few members have been along, or got Frank to run one at their place. Frank's CV includes everything over the years, and he currently has 3 2009 Oz roadracing titles and will likely add to this in 2010. He has enduro, MX and short circuit in the bag too in years gone by, as well as winning a few titles as a rider when he was younger.
The basic concept is to strip, service, revalve, regas and reassemble your suspension and then dial it in around the tracks adjacent to my shed, which makes it work pretty much anywhere on the east Coast, ie rocky snot. The above currently costs $350 per bike, plus any parts like springs and seals. I reckon its a bargain. Plenty of riding too. The work happens and Fridays or Saturdays and we all go for a trail ride Sunday. Swag space available.
I am currently negotiating a date in Sept with Frank for the next one. If you are interested, pm my with a direct email address and I'll give you some more info.
