I've recently got two of these off eBay, about £10:00 each. I believe they are official parts.

I wanted that:(
I got the Ti gear changer tho

Badvoc/SpikeHammer, I mentioned earlier I have never seen this on e-bay, what search words did you use to find these please?

Thanks

Crispin

OK, thanks, I'll use that in future, I noticed some people have been using "Husaburg" in the titles, so these will have been excluded from the previous results.

Cheers

I've just phoned dealer to get a price for the resevoir assembly... £40!

Think I'll wait for one to come along on e-bay for a tenner thank you

yeah I hear you, I shouldnt of been so tight and placed a higher bid :(

Guys, to route the tubing into my "drinks flask"... I need to hook up the various tubes (fuel, water etc) into the one tank. Is there something similar to a "multi-point connector" that can accept a number of inlets with one output that people are aware of??

I can always drill more holes in the rubber lid, but would like to "hide" the majority of the lines adjacent to the carburetor & just run the one line across to the bottle.

I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking? Aquarium air-tube accessories from a pet shop ? Hardware store?? Specific material for fuel resistance?

Any advice appreciated?

Yo crispin, i think i get what you're trying to achieve but believe the best way would be just to take all the lines straight to the bottle. Its going to be much simpler. If you placed another 'catch' point with one outlet to the bottle then theres the possibility of fluids escaping out of the top of the preliminary catch bottle. i also think you might struggle mounting the first catch 'bottle' (behind the carb you were thinking ??) and it just seems to complicate things twice as much, you really want the system to be as fluid tight as possible (bike laid on its side situations) [but with a breather hole of course]

I just used some old see through tubing i had in my 'collection' of pipes,it does look VERY similar to my fish tank air tubing !!!. the ones that were fitted to my bike when i bought it were hard and a nasty orangey/yellow colour. ive now got nice clear ones (which were a tight fit onto the carb breathers). I wouldnt worry too much about the tubings resistance to fuel as its only going to be seeing fuel hopefully every now and then and its not like its under pressure ...
I can take a close up photo of mine if you want mate, i think ive got 3 lines running along rhs of bike to said catch bottle and ive neatly cable tied them together and they look proper factory haha.

Hope this helps you with your decision...

ps - did santa bring you any berg parts ??

Thanks again pal, I was actually thinking of having a couple of "t" or "y" tube connectors in series to reduce the lines down to a single run. I will have these close to the carb to hide the configuration & just bring a single line across from the carb to the one catch bottle mounted on the front of the frame under the radiator. Bought them today from B & Q for £3 ish, so will have a play fitting them a bit later tonight, will letyou know how I get on.

Santa brought me a high flow air filter, Husaberg team jacket, got my wheels overhauled, Crispin logo hoodie, new decals, handle bar sliders, DVD's etc.

How bout you??

Unfortunately i didnt get anything motorbike related but got a nice new phone :) and some money ... it gets crapper as it gets older haha

I'd be careful using t pieces to link the breathers. now im not too sure but hopefully someone else can confirm this ... i'd have thought the breathers may breathe at different rates/times/pressures and theres the possibility that one breathing, in effect, into another breather, could upset the bike ? we're only talkin small pressures but surely the carb could be upset by this ?? in effect pushing a small pressure into the carb via a different breather ?
Only a thought ... if it aint broke ... !

anyways, hope you get it looking how u want mate and still functioning fine

Thanks Smithy, thats an interesting point, back pressure. As you say it's only going to be milli-bar but some pressure none the less as fluid/gas is released from any of the outlets. Does anyone know if this can cause an upset?

Thanks

Crispin
