It looks like the topic has been brought up a few times in the forum. Has anyone found the solution to adding a kickstand to a FS 650C? Do I have to have someone weld on a tab? Suggestions?

I tried two options, one was a home made version, since no one made a suitable bolt-on unit, and the other, a triangle unit for the back axle which could be unscrewed and carried on the bike. Best solution was don't do anything and simply lean the bike against something. There's no law saying you need a kick stand so I park it anywhere I want now with that excuse in case I ever have a problem, but surprisingly no problems and I always get the best parking spots. Just don't obstruct the walking public.
Mine came with the triangle for the axle. Stick it in and walk away. I looked into the welding and bolting and figured I would wait and see before making major mods to the bike and I don't mind throwing the triangle into a pack and taking it along so thats the way she stays. Kickstands are overrated anyways lol the one on my FE fell off after 14 hours!
