Okay, sooo i changed the oil 2 weeks ago saturday (i didn't overtorque the oil drain bolt, made sure of it.)....went for a ride on that sunday....... this weekend i wanted to do a service (oil,oil filters,airfilters,etc.) BUT...the freakin oil drain plug is stuck like a sonafabeech!!!! I've tried everything,......bent a spanner to hell, got a baddass wrench yesterday, which last night manage to rip chunks out of the bolt, but no movement on the oil drain bolt......I AM BAFFLED!!!!! , first things first....lefty loosey, right?
Can anyone try tell me what the hell happened? what could possibly cause that bolt to all of a sudden feel like it's been welded shut.....i changed the oil 2 weeks ago and there was noooooo problem.......NOW IT's buggered!!!!
Have to take the bike to the shop to have it removed (hope they can), and replaced!
Any help will be great, not so much the solution, but i want to know what caused it, i want to avoid this issue in future.....
Or am I the FIRST to experience this?
