I just sold my Husaberg because it was pulled out of the street in Quebec. I need a replacement and dont't want to jump the fence. Any ideas for the near future for a street legal FS 650?

Thanks, FRED.

Is the FS not street legal there? That sucks.

The Quebec department of transportation called "SAAQ" pulled out all bikes that were imported in Canada as being an "Offroad bike". There are no other venues for us other than limiting ourself to offroad. They are acting like dictators. I wish I was a lawyer these days so I could bring them in court.

You can still drive these bikes on the roads in other provinces if your bike is equipped with the proper accessories (blinkers, horn , etc...) and through a safety inspection.

For now.

I think our days are #'d, but until then...

With the big "Green" craze on now, It's only a matter of time until on-road regs tighten up. Pretty soon all our off-road bikes will have to get registered and taxed too. Then restricted riding areas, etc.... It's a good thing that more manufacturers are putting out plated dirtbikes from the factory.
