street duty?

Hi guys I have been wanting a berg for a long time. Now they have the 550 and 650 in street legal trim which one is the best for street duty?
 
Well I have tried the 650 before and yes there is alot of power but I'm guessing that the 550 price tag is a little lower and it might help for the negotiations with the "boss" So thats why I'm looking at it also and I have never tried a 550, I heard that it almost have the torque of the 650 and rev like the 450 but thats about all I know about it.
 
650 without hesitation. One of the reason to get the 650 was to get comfortable rev at highway speed. I have more power than I need, but I want a long life with this bike. Also, you don't need to play around with gearing for on road and off road: 15/40 for street (wheelie at 140 k) & 15/45 for off-road.
 
I know for the wheelies at 140 it happened to me when I tried the 650 140 km in 4th gear throttled it going down a hill and the front suddenly got up wow I was surprised.
