Hey guys!!!

As i have not been able to find a buyer for my bike , As i am moving from east coast of Australia to the west coast for work ,
I'm gonna leave my bike with my parents and im just wonderring what the best way to store my bike as i will be going anywhere from 1 yr to numerous ,

I have packed my users manual away and already send with relocation company . so no use !

any suggestions would be appreciated,

heres how to do it, - on your way from east to west drive towards adelaide, head south to Cape Jervis, stick it on the ferry to Kangaroo Island, and keep headin' west (dont look back), I'll look after it for ya!

The most important thing to do is fog the engine.
Buy a good quality engine fogging spray and follow the instructions. Make sure you treat the gas as well, so any left in the carb will not gum it up.

Another thing I think about is mice damage.
I like to seal up the exhaust, remove the filter and seal the intake. I pulled my RF900 out of storage several springs ago and started it up and literally shot about a half gallon worth of field corn out the exhaust because of mice.

Since then I started storing the bikes in the house though.
 
I wouldn't leave any gas in it at all. Drain the tank and carb. Change the oil. Remove the spark plug, pour an ounce or two of fresh oil through the plug hole, and turn the motor over several times with the kick starter to distribute it. No need for fogging oil this way, although I'm sure it works well.

Mice love air boxes to make their nests in. I've seen that several times. So, that's one less place on a Husaberg for mice.

When you get ready to use it again, change the oil out again, put in some gas, and it will fire right up.
 
You can't ride on the west coast?? Sounds more like the U.S. every day :D
 
If i decide to stay there longer i will have the bike shipped over to me , Its desert so it husaberg country!

Im only going there for work
