So my 650 had the older type ADC and cam gear so I updated the cam gear and ADC sledge (old one was mush) and cam and still e-start does not have enough nuts. I'm going to try a better battery or maybe check the valves again once the piston gets to compression stroke it will not overcome the compression.it's like the ADC is not working at all?

Hi

If the the spring of the ADC it's not right, it will not work correctly and the starter will fight against almoust full compression.

If you can, try also to change to larger electric cables.

Good luck

All new spring and ADC The spring is correct (at least i believe so I put it on the same as the ktm 525 I had) the starter is original but has the bigger cables

How tight are you putting the spring on Im pretty sure I can't get it on another wrap

And sorry forgot 03 fx 650

Yes, sometimes you can't give it another turn, but you can bent a little the tip that goes against the cam shaft and it will give you a bit more of spring.

It does....I'm having the same issue currently. The spring does not fit properly. I am experimenting with by cutting out a few coils as bushy suggested.

Have you seen any improvement or are you still experimenting?

Been real busy....might be awhile. The first attempt did not give me the results I wanted.
