i have a frozen rebound adjuster on my shock. i have inverted the shock, and pulled the rubber plug, to put some penatrating oil on the frozen part. is there another idea to correct this? thanx. 8O

You might try heating the clevis to help the penetrating oil? These frequently have the rebound needle stick. If it is stuck you can easily break the adjuster screw...if the needle is stuck you will have to pull the shock completely apart.

hey thanks. i did all of the above. yea, the thing is so rusted it's a lost cause. found some shocks on ebay reasonably priced. the parts to replace are expensive. hey by the way, do you have any msv suggestions? someone had revalved the forks, but not touched the msv. i was playing with some ideas to smooth out the square-edge bumps at low speed. suggestions much appreciated.
