So I just pulled up to my chiropractor's office to see an '05 FE650 sitting by the door! I started talking to the owner who said he just bought it used, and it was already plated. He said it would be nice to have an ignition key and I replied that at least it had a steering lock. He looked and me like I was ********, so I confidently leaned over to show him where it was. Oops. I thought all Bergs had the steering lock just like my old Huskys. I guess I lucked out getting a "Euro spec" bike with all it's dual sport stuff. When I bought it I didn't even know it came pretty much street legal.
