Just to let you know that I had a customer in yesterday who had had his stator repaired elsewhere here in the UK by someone using an ad on ebay. although all the figures were good the stator just wouldn't spark. minutes later - and with a sparks stator fitted it was a runner!

I know sparks well and he'll be on full gloat when he gets this in to be repaired. have any of you ever heard a yorkshireman swear? it always sounds better from them, like they earnt right todooowit! :D :D

hi there taffy
that stator plate came from me and it was tested on my own 650 which started first kick and ran faultless with it i then sent dave the stator, a few weeks later he got back in touch with me saying he is getting no readings from his wires (red to black and green to black) so i told him to send it me back when i recieved it back i put my multimeter on it and it gave me all the right readings i took it into my garage and fitted it to my own 650 again were it started first time and ran faultless at this point im thinking that dave isnt really clued up as it seemed to me he didnt know how to use a multimeter so i sent it him back and iv heard nothing since if dave had now got back in touck wiv me with this conclusion i would of refunded all the extra postage he had encountered and sent him a new 1 but hes not going to do that when u whos sells them at twice the price is telling him mine are no good
have u tested my rewind on another bike as that stator runs my bike faultless and i dont really like the idea that people can bad mouth my product without speaking to me first coz iv never bad mouthed u even tho iv just took 1 of ur rewninds in yesterday thats doing the same thing the readings are within specs but it wont run his bike iv sold him 1 of mine wich he is happy with now so have u ever heard da saying stones and glass houses
oh and i never knew i had to earn the right to rewind an sem stator when ill let u into a little secret i only started rewining sem's as i bought a new berg with a taffy rewind in that didnt work so its ur prodoct that ur preaching about thats the reason i can offer the same product half da price with 6 months warranty (but this has got me thinking im gunna make it 12 months) with a free gasket which if u look on ebay nobody sells

i cant see wots so bad about my rewinding skills i use no41 magnet wire 0.071mm and electrical varnish and i then seal it up with high temperature black silicon its heat resistant up to 300 degrees so no heat expansion cycle cracks its non conductive so wont arc things out and its weeather proof water proof what more can u want iv got numerouse happy customers and only 1 not happy but i would of made him happy again if he had contacted me again

Hi Kris

Fortunatly I don't need a repair right now, but as everyone that rides old bergs with SEM's, sometime in the future we will need a repair.

I have both first and second generation of SEM's, and for the moment I'm riding with a spraks one, that one its now on the second rewind, and I have spare ones that will repair sometime in the future.

I wouldn't mind try one of yours, we should be open to new solutions and to compair results, when you are ready let me know.
