Have a 1998 600 FE needs a stator do I need to get puller first to see which one I have or can get both at same time

Thanks could you tell me the ohm readings again for the coil I have four wires and settings on meter. And also for the stator and the meter settings for each test saw a bunch of different post but was confused thanks

the stator is green to black 170 ohms and on the red to black it is 2,700 to 3,000 ohms. it is the red to black that will let you down.
the first one is done on the '200' click and the second on the '20,000' click.
there are no readings for the Ignition Module. it can't be done. I can get this repaired and also repair it with an upgraded ignition advance.

*** I say, you can't test the coil/ignition module but you can test the HT lead which MUST BE unscrewed out. also test the plug cap for continuity.
