STATOR CHANGE

Hi to everyone a little advise is wot i am after , i have a fs650 2002 with the sem stator i purchased the bike last week ,as it had been standing i didnt pay a lot of money for it (actually it was a giveaway). i stripped the bike down for the usual checks and when i removed the stator cover quiet alot of water came out of the cover.
the bike runs but is poor to start but when the bike has run it is quiet easy to start.
The bike had been parked outside for about 4 months althrough the winter, i cleaned out the cover sprayed some wd forty and run the bike a few times, i am thinkin of changing it for the reworked model available that is offered on this site but cannot find a price for it, and has anyone fitted this stator, manythanks .

Had a very interesting chat to Taffy to night and will be sending my stator to him tomorrow many thanks all.

Update to you all, recieved my stator back today from taffy he had a staor in from sparks (only sent it tuesday)super fast turnround just gaot to set it up now very impresed , big thanks

Hi to everyone this is just a folow up to my stator faults sent my sator to taffy on tuesday, anouther stator was sent back to my door for thursday lunchtime ,fitted it and it starts first time without fault, top class service manythanks .
